Discovering Tuscany

There's a part of Tuscany in the hilly Maremma where the counrty has preserved its original landscape.Broad open lands and small villages perched on top of hills witneses of ancient civilizations. Right in those”off the beaten track sites” is where we can guide you in a two days mini tour.

The tour that we offer goes through the ancient Saturnia hot springs, where Etruscans and Romans used to bath for healing purposes. In a limited distance we'll visit the Tufa villages of Pitigliano and Sovana.

Getting to Pitigliano is like entering in a world of fairy tales, suspended between sky and earth at night it becomes a magical place. The old town is a maze of alley ways and secret passage ways.

The tour procedes to discover the “ Vie Cave ” deep canyon in the tufa rock carved by the Etruscans for religious mistical ceremonies. Last leg of our tour will lambish the small and enchanting village of Sovana and the Etruscans tombs such as Ildebranda and Sirena.
